In ZBrush 2018.1 the MultiThreading Optimizer & High/Low Priority button options have been removed from the Preferences > Performance Palette. These options are not longer needed as ZBrush will now automatically optimize priority and MultiThreading.

*If you currently have the MultiThreading Optimizer button & High/Low priority buttons visible in Preferences > Performance, then you are not running the latest version of ZBrush 2018.1. To update to the most current version of 2018.1 please follow these steps below:
  1. Uninstall ZBrush . (You do not need to deactivate first.)
  2. Download the latest 2018.1 installer which can be found here >>
  3. Install & Activate ZBrush
