Computers without a C drive

ZBrush requires that your computer have a C drive. This is for several reasons, including the fact that GoZBrush uses the C:\Users\Public\Pixologic folder (or its equivalent path name, depending on OS version). Without a C drive, GoZBrush would not be able to function.
If your computer does not have a C drive for whatever reason you will need to remedy this before you can install ZBrush 4 on the computer. One method to do this is by disconnecting all other drives and then reinstalling the operating system. There are less labor intensive options, however.
The best of the other options would be to purchase an external USB drive, Firewire drive (better) or S-ATA drive (best). Exactly which you can use will depend on the available ports on your computer case. Once you have attached the drive you can remap it to be designated as the C drive. You will then be able to install ZBrush 4 successfully.
The advantage of this option is that it will not affect your existing operating system or programs in any way. You won't need to reinstall anything and will even get additional disk space out of the deal.
Alternate options will depend upon your level of computer savvy. For example you could:
Please note that some of these options are extremely technical. If you are not totally comfortable with digging around inside your computer it is highly recommended that you simply add an external drive. Pixologic can accept no liability for damages or data loss incurred by using the alternate options listed above.
