ZBrush Downloads but can't be found on computer

The most common cause of this issue is Norton.  What is happening is that Norton doesn't trust the executable that you're downloading and quarantines the file as soon as the download is completed.

There are two easy solutions for this:

  1. Open the Norton control panel.  There should be a section for quarantine.  Once there you can view the downloaded file and mark it as safe, at which point Norton will make the installer available on your computer.
  2. Disable/Suspend Norton before starting the ZBrush download.  Do not enable it again until ZBrush has been successfully installed and activated.  This is actually the better option of the two because Norton can often interfere with activating ZBrush as well as with the download.
