If upon launching Sculptris on a Mac machine, you see a flattened version of your object rather than a 3D image, the solution is simple:
- Go to your Applications folder
- Open the Sculptris Alpha 6 folder
- Open config.txt with a text editor
- In your config.txt change "enable_shaders 1" to "enable_shaders 0"
- Save the file
This easy fix instructs Sculptris to use a different shading system, which is compatible with the newer Mac OS versions. Restart Sculptris and objects should now render normally.
