Applies to subscriptions started before April 20, 2022
If you are purchasing a subscription and receive a "CCV Error" despite the fact that you entered the 3-digit CCV code correctly, please ensure that you are not attempting to use a debit card.
Even though a debit card has a credit card logo on it such as Visa or MasterCard it is still drawing funds from your bank account rather than a line of credit. If it says "debit" anywhere on the front of the card, it cannot be used to purchase a subscription. Please see this topic for more information.
