Follow these simple steps to find out how to upgrade your specific version of ZBrush.

First, select your license type:

Serialized licenses use a serial number to activate ZBrush before it can be run. This must be done any time ZBrush is installed. It is also necessary to deactivate ZBrush before uninstalling it or before making a major change to your computer such as reinstalling the operating system.

Floating licenses require quantities of 10 seats or more. They do not use a serial number. Instead, when launched they check with your local server to see if a seat is available for use.
